Sundays OK for Pauly Toyota
Had a couple of people write in after the story on Pauly Toyota ran last week, asking if it was OK for the dealership to be open on Sundays to service cars for recall repairs.
It's a good question, because there is a state law against dealerships selling cars on Sundays. So I called Mike Pauly, the owner at Pauly Toyota, to ask him. He said that dealerships were allowed to be open on Sundays only to service cars -- much like an auto repair shop or mechanic might be open Sundays.
However, there are no sales allowed to take place on the lots. Pauly said the dealership soon would be wrapping up its Sunday hours as repairs for recalled vehicles wind down.
