Sam’s Foundation gave a $1,000 donation to Faith in Action of McHenry County, to assist lonely seniors and to transport seniors living in their own homes who no longer drive. “Faith in Action meets the needs of approximately 250 seniors every month.” said Rhonda Anderson, executive director of the 12-year-old charity. “Transportation is about 48 percent of what our volunteers provide.
